 SHIPYARDS
  1. IZAR

    Two important agreements with the major Spanish Shipbuilding Group IZAR have been signed to develop two research programs on tip loaded propellers sponsored by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of the Spanish Government.

    A first project has enabled to develop and validate an extrapolation procedure for CLT propellers while a second project has enabled to set up a procedure to conduct accurately cavitation tests with CLT propellers.

    IZAR and SISTEMAR have decided to extend the agreement to enable the installation of CLT propellers in the newbuildings of the Shipyard.

  2. UNIÓN NAVAL VALENCIA / UNIÓN NAVAL BARCELONA

    SISTEMAR has a co-operation agreement with the Spanish private yard Unión Naval de Barcelona that enables to shipowners to have a CLT propeller installed during drydocking of ships in service at no additional expense. The co-operation also extends to the design and fitting of CLT propellers in newbuildings of the shipyard Unión Naval Valencia, belonging to the same group.

  1. CEHIPAR

    As a result of the R&D projects on CLT propellers carried out among IZAR, CEHIPAR and SISTEMAR sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Innovation and Technology, CEHIPAR is in position to extrapolate the results of model tests carried out with CLT propellers with the same degree of accuracy than in the case of conventional propellers.

    On the other hand, CEHIPAR has developed in combination with IZAR and SISTEMAR a procedure to carry out cavitation tests with CLT propeller models.

    DEFCAR Ingenieros, S.L. has been developing CAD/CAM/CAO softwear for ship designing and shipbuilding for 8 years. Spanning the bassic project and the detail engineering, the DEFCAR System is a state-of-the-art, userfrienddly and flexible softwaer suitable for all kinds of shipyards, shipowners and marine consultants.
    CAD/CAM, the DEFCAR System, has already been installed in more than 80 companies located in 16 different countries.

    The relationship between CINTRANAVAL-DEFECAR and SISTEMAR dates back many years, to the origin of SISTEMAR in 1987.
    Most of the CINTRANAVAL-DEFCAR’s projects are equipped with propellers designed by SISTEMAR, either conventional or CLT type. Besides, SISTEMAR gives technical support to CINTRANAVAL_DEFCAR regarding the hydrody namic aspects of new projects, paying special attention to the hull design.

    NaviForm Consulting is a ship and boat design office with head office in Vancouver, Canada.

    Is one of the most technologically advanced design offices in the world. The tools are computers, modern ship design software and advanced hydrodynamic technology, protected by international patents.

    A large percentage of revenue is rolled back into further research and development work, resulting in increasingly better platforms, both in performance and economics. Continuous market analysis helps to identify the optimum parameters of vessels and their future trends, which benefits the lifetime profitability of the ships designed by NAVIFORM.

    For most of the NAVIFORM projects the CLT propeller is specified and a close co-operation between NAVIFORM and SISTEMAR enables to assure the optimum solution for the propulsion system in each case.
  3. TSI - TECNICAS Y SERVICIOS DE INGENIERIA S.L.

    Is a private Spanish company with more than 25 years of experience and certified by DNV,UKAS and RVA as ISO-9001 (1994) wich provides specialised services within the maritime field :
    · Sea trials : Measurements of Power, Vibration and Noise
    · Vibration and noise predictions at the design and building stages
    · Dynamic analysis : Analytical (F.E.M.) and Experimental (Modal Analysis)
    · Predictive maintenance for failures
    ·Monitoring of vibrations
    · Failures consulting : diagnostic and recommendations

TSI has participated in a wide number of sea trials of ships fitted with CLT propellers measuring the engine power and the noise and vibration on board.

  1. STUDIO DI INGEGNERIA NAVALE E MECCANICA - SINM

    Is a mechanical and naval engineering consultancy firm, located in Genoa, Italy, formed by a group of engineers having long and qualiffied experience in ship desing, construction, classification and management. Main services are:

 COMMERCIAL NETWORK
  • BBVA TRADE

    BBVA TRADE (a subsidiary of the major Spanish bank BBVA) and SISTEMAR signed a collaboration agreement to market the CLT propellers developed by SISTEMAR

    From now on, BBVA Trade and SISTEMAR will offer to their clients very attractive financing conditions by virtue of which, the expenses derived from the design and manufacturing of the CLT propeller/blades could be paid through a financial scheme defined in accordance with the savings to be achieved in the fuel costs of the ship due to the higher efficiency of the CLT propeller.

  • AGENTS

    A commercial network has been established by SISTEMAR through agency agreements worldwide.

    Specially important are those signed with STA (Servicios Técnicos Australes) in Chile and with Professor J. Listewnik from the Maritime University of Szczecin in Poland

    At the end of 1998 this network was extended to China after the agreement signed with Shenzhen Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (SSTC) by virtue of which this company has been appointed as SISTEMAR exclusive representative within China.
